剪压破坏衡量的是受弯构件斜截面承载能力。这种破坏一般发生在剪跨比适中(1≤γ≤3),箍筋配置数量适当,截面尺寸也合适的梁中。首先在剪弯段的受拉区出现一些垂直裂缝和细微斜裂缝,当荷载增加到一定强度时,就会出现一条又宽又长的主裂缝,称为临界斜裂缝。这条临界斜裂缝虽向斜上方延伸,但仍保留一定的剪压区混凝土截面而不裂通,直到斜裂缝顶端压区的混凝土在剪应力和压应力共同作用下被压碎而破坏。其特点是破坏过程比较缓慢,破坏荷载明显高于斜裂缝出现时的荷载。剪压破坏的形成主要与箍筋的布置有关。
