·剖面密度 (VerticalDensity Profile，简称VDP或 Vertical Density Distribution，简称 VDD)也称剖面密度梯度(Vertical Density Gradient，简称VDG) ，是指人造板在厚度方向上的密度变化，通常沿厚度中心线呈几何对称，表层密度高，芯层密度低，密度高峰值离板材表面有一定距离。
