前围位于彭集西北约0.5公里处，泰(安) 州(城)公路北侧，属后围村民委员会，全村73户，302人，耕地290亩。 据《彭氏族谱》载，1436-1449年(明正统年间) ，彭姓自彭集迁此建村，因村北有中套村崔姓富户的狩猎场，故名前围。
