刚性角是指在无筋扩展基础(也称为刚性基础)中,为防止基础截面受拉或受剪破坏,从基础底角引出到墙边或柱边的斜线与铅垂线的最大夹角。一旦斜线与铅垂线的夹角超过了刚性角,基础截面的弯曲拉应力和剪应力将超过基础材料的强度限值而导致破坏,因此对于无筋扩展基础来说必须要满足刚性角的要求。《建筑地基基础设计规范》GB50007-2011中则主要通过限制无筋扩展基础台阶的宽高比来满足刚性角的要求。
