分层路由(Hierarchical Routing),IS-IS区域提供了一种在IS-IS域中伸缩路由的方法。正常的IS-IS区域和连接它们的骨干区域形成两级的路由层次。区域内的路由称作一级路由。域内独立的区域之间的路由称作二级路由。
