凤眼莲,拉丁文名(Eichhornia crassipes.)雨久花科、凤眼蓝属浮水植物。 喜欢温暖湿润、阳光充足的环境,适应性也很强,具有一定的耐寒能力。凤眼莲茎叶悬垂于水上,蘖枝匍匐于水面。花为多棱喇叭状,花色艳丽美观。叶色翠绿偏深。叶全缘,光滑有质感。须根发达,分蘖繁殖快,管理粗放,是美化环境、净化水质的良好植物。 在生长适宜区,常由于过度繁殖,阻塞水道,影响交通。
