冰瀑（icefall）是因天气寒冷，水流到低于零摄氏度的地表后与岩石冻结而形成的一种自然现象，其名景点有黄河壶口瀑布、天生桥瀑布等。 气温骤降时，夏日里泉水叮咚的山谷中，却点缀着一条条银装素裹的冰柱，往日流水潺潺的河溪凝结成洁白的“玉带”在山间舞动，更有宽阔的巨型冰瀑高悬在崖壁之上，让人感叹大自然的鬼斧神工。
