共混聚合物，是指两种或两种以上分子结构不同的均聚物、共聚物或均聚物和共聚物的物理混合物。一般两组分的大分子之间没有共价键的联系。聚合物的混合是吸热过程，是由一种聚合物分散在另一种聚合物中的非均相体系。共混的目的是要制备在某些性能上有所改进的或具有独特性能的聚合物材料。共混聚合物是最早出现的一种多相聚合物。早在20世纪初，就有通过共混制得抗冲击的聚苯乙烯专利报道。共混在工艺上较为简单，组分的选择范围较大，可以方便地制成具有特殊性能的新材料，所以发展很快。
