免疫效应大致可分为抗体依赖性和非抗体依赖性两类。前者又称体液免疫，是抗体直接作用或介导其它免疫分子作用于寄生虫；后者又称细胞免疫，由效应细胞或其产物介导下杀伤寄生虫。 在学习过程中，当学习材料发生了显著地遗忘后在进行复习时，学习者因发现了遗忘的内容，故能激起复习的动机，他不再把复习看作是多余的事情，就在复习中更加努力和集中注意；同时在复习中，人们还能发现造成遗忘的原因，如获得的知识模糊不清，为充分分化，不稳固等等，于是就在复习时，想方设法加强薄弱的环节。称之为遗忘的免疫效应。
