淋巴细胞分化、发育失控所出现的增生及恶变。淋巴细胞的恶性增生，既可影响免疫功能，又会在局部造成侵袭性损伤和全身性疾病。免疫增生时，淋巴细胞虽在数量上有很大增长，但是，这群异常细胞不能发挥正常的免疫功能。故患者均表现有不同程度的继发性免疫缺陷。免疫增生通常分为两类，一类为肿瘤性免疫增生，另一类为非肿瘤性免疫增生。免疫增生时，免疫球蛋白异常，主要表现为单克隆的高免疫球蛋白血症及免疫功能不全综合症中各种免疫异常，自身免疫现象及相应的临床症状。导致淋巴细胞系恶变的原因至今还不十分清楚。但据逐渐积累起来的资料表明，病毒性感染，电离辐射及某些化学因子的作用与其有密切关系。此外，免疫系统的不平衡也是造成免疫增生的重要原因，如免疫缺陷病患者淋巴细胞系肿瘤的发病率远远高出正常人。免疫增生现象十分复杂，可大致分为淋巴细胞白血病、浆细胞恶病质、淋巴瘤、何杰金氏病等。此类病预后往往不佳，目前尚无有效疗法。
