充磁，使磁性物质磁化或使磁性不足的磁体增加磁性。一般是把要充磁的可带磁性物体放在有直流电通过的线圈所形成的磁场里。 充磁方向可分为厚度充磁、径向充磁等。当受到了外来的能量的影响，比如加热、冲击，其中的各磁畴的磁距方向会变得不一致，磁性就会减弱或消失，此时会消磁，要想保留原有属性需要充磁。
