蓄电池的充电特性是指在恒流充电过程中,蓄电池的端电压u、暂时电动势E、静止电动势Ej和电解液密度随充电时间的变化关系。蓄电池充电终了的主要标志是:单体电池的端电压升高到2.7V左右而不再升高;电解液比重不再增大;电解液中出现大量气泡,呈现所谓沸腾状态。
