保险价值是指保险合同当事人议定的保险标的的价值。是确定保险金额的依据。我国目前财产保险价值的确定方式有： (1) 按重建或重置价值估价，由按投保时重建或重置保险财产所需资金核定；(2)按折旧后的价值估价，即按投保时保险财产的重建或重置价值减去折旧费后的价值核定；(3) 按投保时保险财产的市价，即投保时财产的实际价值核定。人身保险中一般没有保险价值。
