供用电合同，是指供电局与电力用户之间签订的电力供应与用电的协议。供用电合同具有很强的计划性。合同主要条款包括：电力、电量、用电时间和违约责任等。供电方应按照国家规定的供电标准和合同规定安全供电。因故限电，应事先通知用电方。如无正当理由限电或由于供电方的责任断电应赔偿用电方因此而造成的损失。用电方要根据合同规定用电。因特殊情况需要超负荷用电或不能按规定时间用电时，应事先通知供方。如无正当理由超负荷用电或不按规定时间用电，应偿付违约金。用电方要按规定交纳费用。
