会（拼音：huì，kuài），是汉语通用规范一级字。最早见于甲骨文。本义未明，可能是积聚禾谷的意思，引申为聚合、会合。由此义引申为盟誓、聚会、相遇、符合，还引申出两个名词义：一是器盖儿，二是都会，即人口集散之所。又由相遇义引申为机会和副词义恰、适逢。由符合义引申为领悟、理解、能进行、熟悉或擅长，还引申为应当。读音“kuài”，主要用于由聚合义引申出的计算、总计义。 2019年11月20日，“汉语盘点2019”活动启动，清博大数据的推荐字为“国、爱、治、纪、会”。 （基本信息栏来源： ）
