伏旱，是一种气象灾害，是发生在7月中旬至8月中旬期间的旱象。属于夏旱中某一时段的旱情，因这期间正处于伏天，故称“伏旱”。在此期间春播农作物正处在抽穗、扬花、灌浆期，需要大量水分补充、供给。如果没有降雨或降雨稀少，就会发生旱情，将严重影响作物的生长，造成减产或绝收和人畜饮水困难。伏旱对农业生产有很大影响，同时还影响工矿业用水、生活用水和航运事业；也因干热缺水，引发疾病，危害人、畜健康。
水分：容忍伏旱，但要求水分在生长季节。
