伊势神宫(Naign Shrine,いせ じんぐう,Ise Jingu)是日本神社的主要代表。神社是崇拜与祭祀神道教中各种神灵的的社屋,是日本宗教建筑中最古老的类型。由于神道教与日本人民生活密切联系,神社十分普遍。神社自7世纪起实行“造替”制度,即每隔几十年要重建一次。伊势神宫的“造替”制为每隔20年一次。伊势神宫位于三重县,传说起于远古时代。自明治天皇(1867-1912在位)以后的历代天皇即位时均要去参拜。
