仿真模型是指研究仿真对象而制成的各种模型。如被仿真对象的物理模型或适于计算处理的数学模型。物理模型用于物理仿真，数学模型用于数学仿真(计算机仿真)，二者的结合用于半实物仿真。在数学仿真(计算机仿真)中，系统的数学模型必须改写成仿真模型后，才能编写相应的计算机程序上机运行。数学模型是系统的一次近似模型，仿真模型则是二次近似模型。
