人工填土是由于人类活动而形成的堆积土。物质成分较杂乱，均匀性差，根据组成物质或堆积方式，又可分为素填土（碎石、沙土、粘性土等）、杂填土（含大量建筑垃圾及工业、生活废料）、冲填土（水力充填）及压实填土（分层压实土）等。填土堆积时间愈长，土的密实度愈好，作为地基的强度愈高。判断土体的均匀程度，结合当地建筑经验提出土质改良的某些处理方法，采取与地基不均匀沉降相适应的结构和措施。
根据钻探揭露，本场地的地层自上而下分四层，现综述如下：①人工填土（Qml）：褐黑色、红褐色，成份为粉质粘土，细圆砾、碎石块以及少量砂卵石，结构松散，稍湿-湿，层厚8.00-8.90m。
