二硫化二甲基，常用作炼油加氢装置开工时催化剂的硫化机。误服或吸入本品可引起中毒。接触后可引起头痛、恶心和呕吐。空气中浓度超标时，必须佩戴自吸过滤式防毒面具（全面罩），紧急事态抢救或撤离时，应该佩戴空气呼吸器。
