九和镇位于紫金县中南部，秋香江中游，省道S120广下线横贯全镇，距惠州108公里。全镇面积254.97平方公里，其中耕地面积1048.6公顷，山地面积20306公顷。全镇下辖13个村委会和1个居委会，有25653人（2017年）。
