主环（main ioop)“主反馈回路”的简称。决定系统行为的反馈回路。由多个反馈环组成的系统，在某个时间间隔内必有而且仅有一个反馈环决定着系统的行为，其他的反馈环则处于从属或停止活动的状态。随着时间的推移，主环的地位可能发生变化，原来的主环要让位于其他环，而自己则进入从属或关断的状态。但是并不排除已经脱高主环状态的环再次充当主环角色的可能性。研究主环的行为非常重要，因为它的行为就是系统的行为。
