主动式遥感（Active remote sensing）亦称“有源遥感”，是指由遥感器向目标物发射一定频率的电磁辐射波，然后接收从目标物返回的辐射信息进行的遥感技术。它是通过分析回波的性质、特征及其变化来达到识别物体的目的的。主动式遥感所使用的遥感器有微波散射计、激光雷达、侧视雷达、合成孔径雷达等。
