此文物为主佛雕像。高16.8米。其形体高大，占据窟内面积的绝大部分。佛尊目光悠远，神情中蕴藉一种获得无上纯洁的超然，耳轮齐肩，下颌崩毁。举右手，肘下有一小柱支撑。衣纹简洁明快，轻薄贴体，搭覆右肩的袈裟边缘，浅浮雕折带纹饰。此雕像位于云冈石窟第19窟中央。
中间主佛的形象主要是佛教的创始人释迦。
