丹皮，又名牡丹皮，中药名。为毛茛科植物牡丹干燥根皮。产于安徽、山东等地。秋季采挖根部，除去细根，剥取根皮，晒干。生用或炒用。现代研究，所含牡丹酚及其以外的糖苷类成分均有抗炎作用；牡丹皮的甲醇提取物有抑制血小板作用；牡丹酚有镇静、降温、解热、镇痛、解痉等中枢抑制作用及抗动脉粥样硬化、利尿、抗溃疡等作用。
