中东杨（Populus berolinensis Dippel），乔木，高达25米。芽长卵形，先端长渐尖，无毛，带绿色，有粘性；花芽特大，多着生于树冠上部。叶柄圆形，有稀疏的短柔毛。花序长4-7厘米，无毛。果序长达18厘米；蒴果无毛，2瓣裂，果柄显著。用插条和播种繁殖。中国东北有栽培，哈尔滨以北最多。
