东瓯，又叫东越或瓯越。古代王国，又称东海王国，即今温州，包括浙江台州与丽水地区，国都位于温州市区（近年有台州学者提出国都故址在温岭之说，但后确认为徐堰王古城遗址）。 越国第一任越君是夏帝少康庶子姒无余，其主要职责是守护禹陵和主持祭祀工作，因其封地会稽处于欧余山之南。古人称南为阳，故其后世历代越王族为姒姓欧阳氏。
