东大学校是1993年经省、市教委批准，由山西太原东大企业集团投资1.2亿元创办的全日制寄宿学校。学校设幼儿、小学、中学及高考复读等部，占地100亩，是太原市林化单位。学校从一九九六年至今已连续五年被评为太原市“文明单位”、二000年被评为“太原市高中办学先进单位”。
