丛集性头痛是所有头痛中比较严重的一种，属于血管性头痛之一。因头痛在一段时间内密集发作而得名。多见于青年人，20～40岁，男性发病率为女性的4～5倍，一般无家族史。分为发作性和慢性两种类型。
