世界展望会是一个基督教救助、发展和倡导服务的机构，致力与儿童、家庭以及社区一同克服贫穷与不公义；受到基督价值的启发，世界展望会与世界最需要受帮助的人们一起努力；无论宗教、种族、肤色或性别，世界展望会服务所有的人，致力关怀世界饥荒、战火、天灾之中苦难儿童及其家庭，并进而使其改善环境迈入自立之途。如今，世界展望会是全球最大的儿童关顾机构之一，在全世界约 100 个国家中都有儿童服务工作的据点，每一年，透过资助儿童计划、人道救援行动、发展型计划等，服务的贫困儿童及受苦人群超过一亿名以上。
