世界体系分析（world systems analysis）是指 当代西方新马克思主义流派比较教育研究的理论。以美国学者卡诺伊于 1974 年出版的《作为文化帝国主义的教育》一书为发端，对比较教育中以国家为研究单位的传统提出了挑战。主要代表人物有梅厄、汉能、札契里亚、阿诺夫、阿尔特巴赫等。他们认为，一国教育制度受外部世界的影响常常比受该国内部的影响更大，比较教育研究的任务之一就是要探讨这些外部力量。
