下游（lower course）全称“下游河段”，是指介于河流中游和河口之间的一段河段。与中游及河口并无严格的分界。其特点是比降小，水面宽广，泥沙沉积显著，河槽中多浅潭和沙洲。在河流发育阶段上，下游相当于河流的老年期。
