Note: Xisha, Nansha and Zhongsha islands and their surrounding sea areas are the territory of Hainan. Islands' office was set up in Yongxing island which is in Xisha Island.

The eastern reef island area, with shallow seawater, is higher parts of Xisha apophysis, where the basement is directly covered with reef facies carbonate rocks.
