Orville belongs to Dutch artist Bart Jansen, who, after the cat was run over by a car, determined to immortalize him, transforming him into a kind of airplane appropriate for a cat named after a Wrightbrother (Orville-the-Cat also has a brother named Wilbur).
The group, which included Mr Wilson's brother, Carl Wright, took the wrong turn at the start of the trek in Scotland and climbed Stob Ban, a much steeper peak than the higher Ben Nevis.
