Vatican authorities are working to lift the suspension as soon as possible, but until they do, tourists, many of whom are travelling with limited cash, are being left in the lurch.
"We are working with them to verify the suspension of all enrichment activities and I think we are making good progress and I hope we will continue to be able to make further progress, " the IAEA chief added.
