【Abstract】 This thesis aims to prove its modern aesthetic value by illustrating his research focus - Yi Jing (artistic conception) - under the modern aesthetic system. Zong has based his illustration of Yi Jing on ancient arts in which it is regarded as an important category. Not only has he inherited the traditional aesthetic tendency, but also made more contribution by initially transforming the theory of Yi Jing into modernity. Such transformation is conducted on a higher historical level, and helps promote the original concept, with continuous quantitative change, renewal and rebirth of the concept.
