abstract:Windows Contacts is a contact manager that is included in Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. It replaced but retained most of the functionality of Windows Address Book, and works with Windows Mail.
Windows Phone places a greater emphasis on contacts via its People Hub, making it easier to see in one place the various activities and updates from a range of people and even pin people (or rather, thankfully, their digital representations) on the top level of the user interface.
With the new version, users will be able to make and receive free2 1-to-1 video calls over Skype between their Android phone and other Skype contacts on the iPhone, Mac, Windows PCs and even TVs3.
No Google Exchange Active Sync (EAS) mail service through Outlook: Google is not supporting Windows 8 and EAS, which means that you cannot merge and sync contacts and calendar in one program like we are all used to doing in Outlook.
