The vast majority of the thousands of daily visitors reach the ruins by bus and crowd the park from mid-morning until late afternoon, when the last departs at 4PM, a window of about 7 hours.
The demolition work started at roof level on the dormer window of the house at 7 Aelfleda Terrace where contractors used a cherry-picker to start by hand.
