abstract:William Antony Burlton Bennett (November 25, 1807 - February 20, 1886) was an English cricketer who played for Marylebone Cricket Club and briefly for Kent between 1832 and 1845. A batsman of unknown handedness, Bennett played twelve matches in all following his debut for an invitational XI named 'The Bs' at Lord's in 1831 against the England team in its infancy.
The group was founded by former Education Secretary WilliamBennett, who took part in Wednesday's event along with Paul Bremer, a U.S. ambassador during the Reagan administration and the former chairman of the National Commission on Terrorism.
