I reached the house, the medium size house had a blue, faded out and slightly torn couch on the front deck. I stared at it for a moment. Debating. The sounds of the blades slashing in the air made me come to a decision. I was going inside. As I sprinted over the damp lawn, more grass attaching itself to my wet legs. The porch made hollow sounds when I ran on it so I switched into a tip-toe. The porch wrapped around the whole house. I looked around to the side of the house and spied an old couch, left out in the rain to mold and rot. There was an open window above it. What idiots, its December remember? I put one foot on the couch to test resistance, and then I was off. Pulling myself through the window the little track to slide it along was digging into my hip bone. My foggy air blew into the warm house and disappeared. When I somersaulted onto the hardwood floor I braced myself. 'This is a house you dumbus.' I thought to myself. 'people obviously live here!'
