abstract:In combustion processes, a wet analysis is performed when water vapor is taken into account as one of the products of the reaction. This analysis can be undertaken both on volumetric and mass basis.
Curiosity has already seen plenty of evidence for past running water in Gale Crater and the results from the drill-hole analysis are expected to reveal further information about that wet history.
