abstract:A virtual event is a gathering of people sharing a common virtual environment on the web, rather than meeting in a physical location. Virtual events are highly interactive, looking and feeling a lot like their physical counterparts.
GreenBiz produced an event called VERGE, a global virtualevent based in Shanghai, London and San Francisco, focusing on the convergence of energy, information, building, and vehicle technologies.
Anyone who's returned from an event with a virtual armful of photos may have been frustrated with Facebook's upload interface, which until now has involved a less-than-intuitive file browser.
