abstract:Barry (DD-248/APD-29) was a Clemson-class destroyer in the United States Navy during World War II. She was the second ship named for Commodore John Barry.
In addition to the Mount Whitney, U.S. ships under Odyssey Dawn included the Kearsarge and Ponce and the guided-missile destroyers USS Stout and USSBarry, along with logistics and refueling ships.
