Shanxi Normal University, located in the birthplace of the Chinese national Yao is one of the ancient city of Linfen in Shanxi Province, Shanxi Province is one of the five old colleges and universities. Is a provincial key university, Shanxi Province is a normal education, higher education, the arts, education, scientific research and teacher training center. Shanxi is the predecessor of the Teachers College, founded in 1958. In 1962, Shanxi higher education system to adjust, to become the province only retained the Higher Teachers College.
