"The Android operating system holds the largest share of smartphone unit shipments in Canada and in North America today, " said Krista Napier, Senior Analyst for Mobility at IDC Canada.
TomTom doesn't appear to be letting that spat with Encyclopaedia Britannica stop it from rolling out new GPS devices, with its new GO 720 unit making its debut today, along with the company's new "Map Share" system.
And much share ownership, in that Anglo Saxon system, is parked in mutual funds, unit trusts, insurance companies (where they back insurance policies) and so on.
