The witnesses include experts from the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the UKEnergyResearchCentre, and the Combined Heat and Power Association.
Rob Gross from Imperial College London, head of policy and technology assessment at the UKEnergyResearchCentre (UKERC), believes Inenco is presenting a worst-case scenario.
Prof John Loughhead, executive director of the UKEnergyResearchCentre, said the study was "a very interesting step, and could lead us to much easier and better performance systems for... storage and transport".
