abstract:Uetersen (, formerly known as Ütersen (Holstein)) is a city in the district of Pinneberg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated approximately south of Elmshorn, and northwest of Hamburg at the small river Pinnau, close to the Elbe river.
