For those who just love doing the start-up tango, the answer may be to avoid the whole transition itself by taking profit off the table early and moving on to the next insanely great idea they may have.
We particularly liked the ease of use of Keynote's chart and table tools, which work within the application, and its transition effects, both for moving between slides and for introducing elements within an individual slide--though overuse may eventually make us as tired of Keynote's revolving cube transitions as we are of PowerPoint's wipes.
