Scott Sentell, the U.S. brigade's executive officer, was one of the soldiers who tried in 2011 to transfer control of Camp Blessing in Kunar Province to Afghan forces.
"Our members at these sites do not want to be forced to transfer to the South West and many will leave the MoD rather than move their families, " said Prospect national officer Steve Jary.
