Living,working and studying in Australia i think it is a enjoyable things after overcoming the difficulties for the first few months.Totally new environment,different cultural,lauguage barrier,variously different food,etc, those are all you need to adjust youself.It's very normal phenomenon that most of new comer feel frustrated in the begining and couldn't feel satisified with their life that they dreamed for a long time before.
